Soundtrackboutique is born in Italy and sounds like Italy: most of the catalogue is recorded with real acoustic instruments — piano, strings, winds, guitars — rather than sampled libraries.
The result is a warm, living tone, carrying the melodic, orchestral touch that has long been the signature of the Italian school of music for image, from Morricone onward.
Soundtrackboutique kommt aus Italien und klingt danach: Der Großteil des Katalogs wird mit echten akustischen Instrumenten aufgenommen — Klavier, Streicher, Bläser, Gitarren — statt mit Sample-Bibliotheken.

Giampaolo Cantini lavora nella musica dal 1997. Cresciuto tra le sale di incisione — il padre Mario Cantini ha guidato il gruppo editoriale RCA e poi BMG dal 1959 al 2001 — ha iniziato il suo percorso nell'audiovisivo, in Columbia TriStar, collaboratore de l'Unità e poi in Filmauro, per poi diventare produttore esecutivo di programmi Rai al fianco di Enzo Biagi.
Dal 2002 è amministratore di Concertone. Il resto del tempo lo divide tra la musica e il mare, in barca a vela, in giro per il mondo.
Giampaolo Cantini has worked in music since 1997. Raised around recording studios — his father, Mario Cantini, led the editorial group of RCA and later BMG from 1959 to 2001 — he began his career in film and television at Columbia TriStar, contributing to l'Unità, and later at Filmauro, before becoming executive producer of Rai programmes alongside Enzo Biagi.
Since 2002 he has run Concertone. The rest of his time is split between music and the sea, sailing around the world.
Giampaolo Cantini arbeitet seit 1997 in der Musikbranche. Aufgewachsen zwischen Aufnahmestudios — sein Vater Mario Cantini leitete von 1959 bis 2001 die Verlagsgruppe von RCA und später BMG — begann er seine Laufbahn im Film- und Fernsehbereich bei Columbia TriStar, als Mitarbeiter von l'Unità und später bei Filmauro, bevor er als ausführender Produzent von Rai-Sendungen an der Seite von Enzo Biagi tätig wurde.
Seit 2002 leitet er Concertone. Seine übrige Zeit teilt er zwischen Musik und dem Meer, beim Segeln rund um die Welt.
